Mezzegra is situated in the Tremezzina area. The different hamlets that form
the township are characterized by striking little cobble stone roads, underpasses
and ancient houses, decorated with awesome frescos. Do not miss the historic center
of the hamlet Bozzanigo and the beautiful piazza on the lake with ist beautiful

Mezzegra is mentioned in all history books because of the famous event of 28
April 1945, when Mussolini, captured at Dongo, was brought here, where he spent
his last night in the house of the Maria Family.
